2GB RAM / 64GB
The entry option. On the 7-inch radio it is available with Dual USB or USB-C + USB, and it does not include a reverse camera.
Volkswagen 2010–2013Mk6 Variant / 5K
Mk6 estate practicality with a wireless phone screen.
The Golf Variant / Wagon Mk6 is listed for 2010–2013. Up front it is a Mk6 Golf. Out back it is an estate, so reversing and trailer work matter more than they do in a hatch. The radios still have to match the bolted factory opening. A Mk5 estate or a later Mk7 Variant is a different car.
Both radios include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a CANBUS decoder. They replace the factory radio. They are not add-on modules.
Variant owners use the car for family miles and luggage. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto keep maps on the dash, and a reverse-camera variant is the option most estate drivers ask about. You keep the long load floor and replace only the stereo.
These are the two existing LJ Automotive radios, not new products. RAM is working memory. More RAM generally helps the radio keep maps, music and other apps open together. We do not promise a specific speed or frame rate.
The entry option. On the 7-inch radio it is available with Dual USB or USB-C + USB, and it does not include a reverse camera.
The usual middle choice. On the 7-inch radio the 4GB options include a reverse camera. On the 9-inch radio 4GB is sold with or without a camera.
The highest option we sell. Both radios include a reverse camera on the 6GB variants. Choose this if you want more working memory and storage.
On the 7-inch radio you can pick Dual USB or USB-C + USB. That is about the physical ports, not CarPlay. Phone linking is wireless on both radios.

CANBUS is included. Steering-wheel controls can work after the correct setting is selected. Estate-specific factory park assist is not promised.
The radio swap is the same Mk6 job at the dash. A camera, if you ordered one, means a cable to the tailgate — that is extra work and often better done by an auto electrician. The YouTube tutorial does not show a Variant.
The installation tutorial we share is a Golf Mk6 radio swap. It is not a film of a Golf Variant / Wagon Mk6, so use it only as a general overview.

Both radios support wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. You do not need a USB cable to connect your phone.

Not every option includes a camera. The aftermarket camera supplied with camera options is compatible with the radio it comes with.
We cannot guarantee that a factory reverse camera or parking sensors will work on the new radio. Fitting a camera may involve working with your car's wiring. If you are not confident, use a qualified mechanic or auto electrician.
Will it fit my Mk6 estate?
It is listed for the Golf Variant / Wagon Mk6 (2010–2013) with the RNS/RCD-style opening. Compare photos before you order.
Does wireless Android Auto work?
Yes, on both radios, without a USB cable for the phone link.
Should I add a reverse camera?
Choose a camera variant if you want the aftermarket camera. The 7-inch 2GB radios do not include one. Factory cameras are not guaranteed to reuse.
Will steering-wheel buttons work?
They can on factory-equipped cars once CANBUS is set.
Can I install the camera myself?
The radio is a dash job. The camera needs a run to the rear and a reverse-light feed. Use a qualified fitter if you are not sure.
Orders dispatch within 24–48 hours with tracked delivery. Fit still depends on your factory radio, dashboard and wiring.
