The GLI years are listed clearly. The radio shape still matters.
Unlike the combined Mk5/Mk6 Jetta line, the Jetta GLI Mk6 is listed on its own for 2011–2013. It is the performance saloon with Golf GTI-family running gear. A later GLI is not on this page. Keep the GTI-style cabin; only the factory stereo comes out if the opening matches the photos.
Both radios include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a CANBUS decoder. They replace the factory radio. They are not add-on modules.
Why upgrade a Jetta GLI Mk6?
GLI owners usually keep the car because it still drives well. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto update the cabin for commuting and back-road trips without changing the seats or suspension.

Product options
These are the two existing LJ Automotive radios, not new products. RAM is working memory. More RAM generally helps the radio keep maps, music and other apps open together. We do not promise a specific speed or frame rate.
4GB RAM / 64GB
The usual middle choice. On the 7-inch radio the 4GB options include a reverse camera. On the 9-inch radio 4GB is sold with or without a camera.
6GB RAM / 128GB
The highest option we sell. Both radios include a reverse camera on the 6GB variants. Choose this if you want more working memory and storage.
USB-C versus Dual USB
On the 7-inch radio you can pick Dual USB or USB-C + USB. That is about the physical ports, not CarPlay. Phone linking is wireless on both radios.

Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and CANBUS
Both radios support wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. You do not need a USB cable to connect your phone.
CANBUS is included. Steering-wheel controls can work after the correct setting is selected. GLI-specific performance menus from the factory radio are not promised.
Reverse camera options
Not every option includes a camera. The aftermarket camera supplied with camera options is compatible with the radio it comes with.
We cannot guarantee that a factory reverse camera or parking sensors will work on the new radio. Fitting a camera may involve working with your car's wiring. If you are not confident, use a qualified mechanic or auto electrician.
Jetta GLI Mk6 questions
Is the GLI listed separately from a normal Jetta?
Yes. The GLI has its own 2011–2013 line. The standard Mk6 Jetta is still on a combined chart.
Does wireless CarPlay work?
Yes, on both radios.
Will steering-wheel buttons work?
They can on factory-equipped GLIs once CANBUS is set.
Which RAM option should I choose?
4GB is the usual pick with a camera on the 7-inch radio. 6GB / 128GB is the highest option.
