A seven-seat VW, listed only to 2013.
The Sharan Mk2 (7N) is listed for 2010–2013. It shares its bones with the SEAT Alhambra 7N. Sliding doors and seven seats do not change the radio-shape rule. A first-generation Sharan or a 2014–2020 Mk2 is not automatically covered.
Both radios include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a CANBUS decoder. They replace the factory radio. They are not add-on modules.
Why upgrade a Sharan Mk2?
Sharan owners need maps the whole family can follow and a camera for a tall, wide tail. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto replace a small factory stereo without changing the seats or sliding-door setup.

Product options
These are the two existing LJ Automotive radios, not new products. RAM is working memory. More RAM generally helps the radio keep maps, music and other apps open together. We do not promise a specific speed or frame rate.
4GB RAM / 64GB
The usual middle choice. On the 7-inch radio the 4GB options include a reverse camera. On the 9-inch radio 4GB is sold with or without a camera.
6GB RAM / 128GB
The highest option we sell. Both radios include a reverse camera on the 6GB variants. Choose this if you want more working memory and storage.
USB-C versus Dual USB
On the 7-inch radio you can pick Dual USB or USB-C + USB. That is about the physical ports, not CarPlay. Phone linking is wireless on both radios.

Installation considerations
- Our list ends in 2013. Later Mk2 Sharans need a photo.
- Camera cable runs through sliding-door vans/MPVs need extra care.
- The Golf Mk6 tutorial is not a Sharan.
- Sharan Mk2 was sold after 2013. Later cars are outside the listed window and need a photo check.

Installing in a Sharan Mk2
Radio swap at the dash. Leave sliding-door modules alone. A camera is extra work — use an auto electrician if you are not sure. The YouTube video is a Golf Mk6.

Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and CANBUS
Both radios support wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. You do not need a USB cable to connect your phone.
CANBUS is included. Steering-wheel controls can work after the correct setting is selected. Factory park-assist graphics are not promised.
Reverse camera options
Not every option includes a camera. The aftermarket camera supplied with camera options is compatible with the radio it comes with.
We cannot guarantee that a factory reverse camera or parking sensors will work on the new radio. Fitting a camera may involve working with your car's wiring. If you are not confident, use a qualified mechanic or auto electrician.
